Bad Feminist

Bad Feminist es una colección de ensayos de una de mis autoras favoritas. Intenté leerlo una vez y no sé por qué lo dejé. Después de ver el TED y recordar de dónde había venido la recomendación, le di una oportunidad al formato (y me gustó).

Me reí, me frustré, aprecié la diversidad que daba por hecho y me volví a cuestionar posturas con nuevos argumentos. Imposible que todas las luchas humanas sean homogéneas, especialmente el feminismo.

“I embrace the label of bad feminist because I am human. I am messy. I’m not trying to be an example. I am not trying to be perfect. I am not trying to say I have all the answers. I am not trying to say I’m right. I am just trying—trying to support what I believe in, trying to do some good in this world, trying to make some noise with my writing while also being myself.”--I too, rather be a bad feminist than not be a feminist at all.
